I'm Katie.

Purpose-driven and motivated, I work creatively to find the best solutions. I have over seven years of experience designing, developing, and facilitating course content, learning activities, and training materials for in-person, virtual, and hybrid settings. 

My passion is developing learning experiences that are meaningful and resonate with learners. To me, a meaningful learning experience is engaging, learner-centered, and delivers results. I am continually learning and honing my skills so the learning experiences I create are truly worthwhile.

I have developed an understanding of and applied instructional design processes such as action mapping, ADDIE, and storyboarding to identify solutions and fully develop effective and meaningful learning experiences. My instructional design journey has also led me to learn and gain confidence in tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, Canva, and Vyond.

I have immersed myself in the learning and development community by continually exploring content. I am amazed at and grateful for how many resources are available and love soaking up all I can from professionals in the field.

The key things I seek in new opportunities are meaningful job responsibilities, career growth, and a supportive team. I am seeking to contribute my skills in instructional design, facilitation, project management, writing and editing, and collaboration so I can continue to make meaningful learning experiences that resonate with learners and make a significant impact.
